To start always use a NEW condom for each act of sex. Check the expiration date to ensure the quality. If you are going from vaginal to anal sex, it is especially important to use a NEW one.
Now it is time to open it. Make sure you tear the package carefully, avoid using your fingernails or teeth to prevent damage. Squeeze the tip of the condom to remove any air. (excess air can cause it to break). Consider using some water-based lubricant outside of the condom. Using a water-based lubricant lowers the risk it breaking. (In some cases this can also increase your pleasure.) Stay away from oil based lubricants as they can cause it to break.
Let’s Put It On!
Place the condom on the head of your erect penis with rolled side out. Sperm can be released before ejaculation so it should go on BEFORE any sexual contact. NOTE-Lesions, pre-ejaculation secretions, semen, vaginal secretions, and blood can all transmit infectious organisms.
Unroll or pull the condom all the way to the base of your erect penis
If it doesn’t unroll quickly, it may be on backward, damaged or too old, just grab a new one.

IMMEDIATELY after ejaculation, hold the rim of the condom in place and withdraw the penis while it is still erect. -Avoid spilling semen.
Dispose of it by wrapping it in tissue and throwing it into the trash. Wash your hands with soap and water.
You should avoid any further sex activities until both of you wash your sex organs and any other area that may have come into contact with any bodily fluid.

Store in a cool, dry place (below 100F) and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
